Lappy Custodio, Director
Lappy graduated in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and is an undergraduate of Law as a state scholar from the University of the Philippines. With a twelve-year working background in writing, journalism, marketing, and high-profile events production for lifestyle publications (Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Real Living, Smart Parenting, Men’s Health, K-Zone, and many other titles), Lappy continually spearheads projects to enhance the usability and functions of all BrillKids products and websites. Her role as Vice President for Development has her always thinking up of innovative ways to make the BrillKids products, site functions, and community even more educational and enjoyable.
Each project that The Early Education for Every Child Foundation endeavors to undertake requires a point person to create a seamless workflow between on-the-field volunteers and headquarters to ensure that all that is promised is fulfilled – this is the role Lappy fills.
She contributes creativity to BrillKids’ products and services – through workflow management, writing, design, and continual involvement in product and web development. Lappy gives back to the community through teaching English for the Bayanihan Training Centre, a philanthopic group which helps train overseas contract workers.
